Meadowbrook Farm Preserve
Visit Meadowbrook with your Class or Youth Group!

Meadowbrook Farm is an ideal place for your class to visit for a day, or overnight. The beautiful site offers opportunities to explore cultural and natural history, with plenty of room to explore, hike, and play outdoors. Come on your own, or consider the Interpretive Center building for a day program, overnight, or end-of-year camp out! We will help make your outing memorable and fun.



 

Sample Overnight Schedule

  • Arrive Friday late afternoon, drop off luggage, orientation to site, restrooms, etc.
  • Short Hike: choose one:
    • hike into meadow for story of Moon the Transformer
    • hike to Mary Louie art installation
    • elk tracking
    • native plant ID
  • Order in pizza or other dinner from local restaurant
  • Evening: craft project such as build kites, NW coast art project, or your own program
  • Campfire: bonfire in outdoor fireplace for marshmallows, s'mores; singing, stories
  • Light's Out! slumber-party style camping on floor, or camp outside; adults can use loft
  • Morning: Easily packed breakfast (bagels, fruit, muffins, etc.) and pack up for home!
