Frequently asked questions
Meadowbrook is open dawn to dusk for hiking, biking, dog walking, wildlife viewing, and other passive recreation. Model airplane flying is also allowed.
Camping, campfires, motorized vehicles, fireworks, and hunting are not allowed. Visitors must respect wildlife and stay on designated areas.
Some fields are used for hay production. Walking on them can damage crops. Perimeter trails around these fields remain open.
Yes. Dogs are allowed but must be on leash or under voice control. Please clean up after them and do not let them disturb wildlife.
Yes. Horseback riding is allowed, but use designated parking areas and be cautious of terrain and wildlife
Model airplanes are allowed, but manned aircraft (ultralights, hang gliders) are not.
The Interpretive Center and fields can be rented through Si View Metro Parks. Special permits may be required depending on the event.
No. Public use is allowed without reservation, but scheduled events and reserved areas take priority.
Yes. The Interpretive Center and select fields are available for weddings and events.
Camping may be allowed only as part of permitted special events and may require additional permits.
The land is managed for wildlife habitat, agriculture, recreation, and cultural interpretation, preserving its historical and ecological significance.
